Language Schools
Saturday is busy at Forest Hills. Over six hundred children attend each Saturday. Three language schools meet and fill the buildings. Their purpose is to teach and keep active and alive the native language to the children. Often the children of Internationals learn English very rapidly, speak it constantly in the schools and play areas, and can forget or get rusty with the native language. These schools work hard to keep the children attached to their first language.
